The record

AMC lengthened the CJ-5 by ten inches to create the CJ-7, offering the Quadra-Trac full-time four-wheel drive and the TH400 automatic. The Renegade, Golden Eagle, Laredo and Limited trims followed. The Wrangler YJ replaced it in 1986.
