The Golden Eagle was the Chief with the AMC eagle decal on the bonnet, gold 15 by 8 wheels, gold body accents and the Levi’s denim-look interior, offered in 1977–79. The Golden Hawk of 1980 replaced it briefly with a hawk decal before the Laredo took over.
