The record

Developed by AMC with Renault, the XJ was the first Jeep with a unibody. It was built in Toledo, by Beijing Jeep in China (1985–2005) and in Venezuela, Argentina and Egypt. The 1997 facelift kept it in production until the Liberty replaced it in 2001; Chinese production continued to 2005.
