The record
The Pick-Up was the commercial derivative of the Dacia 1300 family, built at Mioveni from 1975: the 1302 until 1982, the 1304 single cab from 1982, the drop side from 1983 and the 1307 double cab from 1992. Rear-wheel drive with a propeller shaft and leaf-spring rear axle came first; the four-wheel-drive versions followed in 1999 with a plug-in front axle and a higher towing limit than the rear-drive trucks. Renault's 1.9-litre diesel, of 63 hp, was offered from 2001. The last Pick-Up left the line on 8 December 2006, after 318,969 of all versions; the four-wheel-drive share is not published.
