The record

GM’s first compact trucks got four-wheel drive from 1983 with the S-10 Blazer built against the Bronco II and Cherokee; the 1991 four-door and the 1995 redesign (the Blazer dropped S-10) followed, and the ZR2 package of 1994 made the S-10 and two-door Blazer credible off-roaders. The Colorado replaced the S-10 in 2004 and the TrailBlazer the Blazer in 2002 (the Blazer lasted to 2005 for fleets).
