Colorado 4x4 (2004–)

The mid-size Chevrolet 4x4 since 2004: the GMT355 Colorado of 2004–12 developed with Isuzu, the GMT31XX of 2015 built in Missouri with the 2.8 Duramax diesel and the ZR2 of 2017 (Multimatic DSSV dampers, front and rear lockers, a two-inch lift, the Bison with AEV armour), and the 2023 third generation with the 2.7 turbo four, the ZR2 and Trail Boss; the global Colorado built in Thailand and Brazil is the same family.

The record

The Colorado replaced the S-10 for 2004 with a five-cylinder Vortec and part-time four-wheel drive; the second generation of 2015 (built at Wentzville) added the Duramax diesel and the ZR2, the first factory mid-size truck with DSSV dampers and lockers, and the Bison with AEV bumpers and skid plates; the 2023 generation continues them. The GMC Canyon is its twin.
