The VA D50 was Vickers-Armstrongs' commercial light tracked vehicle of 1934, and the Mark III Dragon shared its suspension and its laterally shifting steering. The same running gear went on to the Carrier, Machine-Gun and the Universal Carrier; the Army stopped buying tracked gun tractors after the 69.
