History

Linn, from Maine, first tried six-wheel drive and worked with Alvin Lombard around 1907 before parting from him over rigid versus flexible tracks. His machines hauled freight on Canadian power schemes and pioneered snow ploughing from about 1920. The experimental CATRUK of 1938 did not survive the war and the company closed in 1952.
