The Fiat commercial-vehicle company formed in 1975, whose Daily 4x4 has been built since 1984 at Suzzara and Valladolid, whose VM 90 (3,634 for Italy) and LMV Lince equipped the Italian Army and a dozen others, and which sold the Santana-built Massif from 2007 to 2011.

Iveco brought together Fiat’s, OM’s, Lancia’s, Unic’s and Magirus-Deutz’s truck businesses in 1975; the Daily 4x4 of 1984 is its light off-road chassis, the VM 90 and LMV its military vehicles, and the Massif its only Land Rover-descended 4x4.
