Auverland, Saint-Germain-Laval

Founded as Autoland by François Servanin in the early 1980s, it took over Cournil manufacture at Saint-Germain-Laval in 1982–84, built the SC until its own A3 replaced the design, and in 2005 bought Panhard and became Panhard General Defense.

History

Auverland built SIMI’s lightly modified Cournil as the SC (SC-200, SC-250, SC-II) and a more heavily modified A2 before the entirely new A3 of 1986–87. It went into liquidation on 26 June 2001 and continued as the Société Nouvelle des Automobiles Auverland (SNAA), which merged with Panhard on 30 December 2005.
