During the transfer from SIMI to Auverland in 1983–84 the vehicle was briefly marketed as the Autoland. Auverland’s own list dates the Cournil SC II to 1988. A more heavily modified version was sold as the Auverland A2, and the A3 of 1986–87 was an entirely new vehicle that ended the Cournil bonnet.
