The record

The K5 Blazer took the full-size pick-up chassis into the sport-utility market in 1969 with a removable fibreglass top and a rear seat, and outsold the Bronco through the 1970s; the 1973 square body, the 1976 half-cab top, the 1981 facelift and the 1982 diesel followed, and the Chalet camper of 1976–77 and the M1009 CUCV of 1983–87 were its specials. The full-size Blazer of 1992–94 on the GMT400 became the Tahoe in 1995.

Procedural model research (2026-09-28): one shared 1973–91 square-body shell on the 2705 mm wheelbase with the requested 1989-style rectangular-lamp front. The fixed front cab roof remains; the rear fibreglass top is fitted. Blue and pale two-tone paint is representative, not an identity claim for a preserved vehicle. All supplied photographs were inspected; aftermarket visors, hood scoops, guards, spotlights, exhausts and decals are not reproduced. No real maker badges or registration identity. Plain civilian cabin, chrome trim, shared road wheels and standard V8 audio. Gameplay handling is representative tuning. US build/operation queue cells preserved; generic worldwide private ownership does not establish additional operating nations. Reference photographs include modified survivors and are used feature by feature, not as a single factory-original specification.

AI rendering impression

An AI rendering impression starts from a 3D model of this vehicle, which an image model then paints into a scene. It is an artist's impression of the type, made to give a feel for the vehicle in its element — not a photograph, and not a record of any particular vehicle.

Proportions, fittings, markings, colours and the setting can all drift from the original in the process. For the vehicle's actual details, rely on the specification, the photographs and the cited sources on this page.
