The record

Jeep introduced the Sahara for 1988 as a desert-themed package: Khaki Metallic or Sage Green paint, a khaki top and Sahara-logo seats, fog lamps, a swing-away spare carrier and 15-inch alloys, with the 4.2-litre six and from 1991 the fuel-injected 4.0-litre. It has been offered on every Wrangler generation since.
