The record
SIMI built 560 until 1984, mostly for public bodies — EDF, the police, the Équipement and the Eaux et Forêts. Autoland, founded by the Boulogne-Billancourt BMW dealer François Servanin, took the business over in 1982–84, briefly selling the vehicle under its own name before becoming Auverland; it built the lightly modified SC until the Auverland A3 replaced the Cournil body in 1986–87.
