The record

GM bought the Hummer name in 1999 and put the H2 on a Suburban-derived chassis, keeping AM General as the builder; sales collapsed with fuel prices and the H2 ended in 2009, the Hummer brand in 2010. It has a two-speed transfer case and a locking rear differential, unlike the later H3 and the 2021 electric Hummer.
