The record

Of 11,401 allocated to Lend-Lease, 6,987 went to the British Commonwealth, 3,310 to the Soviet Union and 104 to the Chinese Nationalist Army, with more to the Free Belgian, Free French, Czechoslovak and Polish forces. After the war many were sold to Asian and Latin American countries; France used them in Indochina and Algeria, Israel in 1948, and Madagascar was still reported to be running them in 2024. It is one of the most widely preserved American four-wheel drives.
