The record

The armoured body is a kitted hull rather than a converted pickup: the commercial chassis is stripped and Plasan's capsule is built onto it, which is what lets one platform be an ambulance, a missile carrier or a patrol vehicle. About 700 SandCats have been built since 2004, and the fourth-generation body is 5.94 m long, 2.315 m wide and 2.54 m high, carrying up to 2,109 kg.
