Arctic Trucks

Arctic Trucks began in 1990 as a department of Toyota’s Icelandic importer converting Hiluxes and Land Cruisers for the highlands, and became a separate company in 2005 with branches in Norway, Finland, the United Kingdom and the Middle East. Its conversions widen the arches, lower the gearing and fit oversize tyres run at low pressure; the AT38 Hilux reached the 1996 magnetic north pole in 2007 and the South Pole in 2010, and the company supports the British Antarctic Survey and other polar programmes. The Hilux Arctic Trucks AT35 is sold through Toyota dealers in Britain.
