The current Wrangler (2018–) and its Gladiator JT pick-up derivative (2019–): aluminium doors and bonnet on a steel body, the 3.6-litre Pentastar, the 2.0-litre turbo four, the 3.0-litre EcoDiesel and, from 2021, the 4xe plug-in hybrid and the 392 V8; wheelbases of 96.8 (two-door), 118.4 (Unlimited) and 137.3 inches (Gladiator).
The JL kept the JK's layout and solid axles while cutting weight and adding the Gladiator, the first Jeep pick-up since the Comanche. A 2024 facelift brought a new grille and interior.
