The first Humbers went to North Africa and stayed in the reconnaissance regiments for the rest of the war.
Procedural review, 28 September 2026: Mk II represents the Mk I–III grouping, using the period IWM H17835 front and Haugh archival rear photographs. Fresh tall welded hull, integrated driver glacis, small two-man twin-MG turret, seven rear engine louvres, side bins, 112-inch shared-wheel chassis and two right-side smoke tubes. All 19 supplied originals and six additional period Mk II images inspected. Closed combat vision shutters are modelled opaque. Plain representative desert sand; no invented unit signs. Exposed spare omitted because absent in the selected standard period all-around views (field-lashed and museum fittings vary).
