The record

Stroppe’s Broncos won the Baja 1000 in 1969 and 1971 with Parnelli Jones, and Ford sold the Baja Bronco as a dealer-ordered package from 1971: the 302, C4 automatic, quick-ratio power steering, fender cut-outs, a roll bar and the Stroppe livery. About 650 were built; the 2025 Bronco Stroppe Edition recalls it.
