History

Bill Stroppe prepared Lincolns for the Carrera Panamericana and Mercurys for NASCAR before turning to the Bronco in 1966; his Broncos won the Baja 500 and 1000 and Ford sold his Baja Bronco package — 302 V8, automatic, power steering, flares, roll bar and the red, white and blue livery — through its dealers from 1971. The 2025 Bronco Stroppe Edition carries the name. Stroppe died in 1995.
