The record

It was tested at Aberdeen in the summer of 1941 and accepted soon after. About 15,000 standard M3s were built and more than 38,000 vehicles on the design in all, by White, Autocar and Diamond T; International Harvester built the near-identical M5 for Lend-Lease. The M3A1 went to 18,425 lb.
