NATO Green (IRR)

The matt infrared-reflective green applied to British military vehicles, including military Defenders and Land Rovers, from the late 1970s onward. Hex is approximate, from the colors.watch/hextoral rendering of BS 381C-285; real IRR paint is flatter and varies with weathering.

Australian Olive Drab (lustreless)

The Australian Army's own flat/lustreless olive drab, adopted in April 1967 in place of gloss Deep Bronze Green and used as the whole-fleet colour into the late 1980s; distinct from and noticeably lighter than US Olive Drab FS 34087, with no good FS 595 match. Perentie Land Rovers were factory-painted in it from 1987 (Anzol polyurethane 450-2022 'suit ADF Perentie pre-Auscam'), and it remains the base green of the later Auscam three-colour disruptive scheme (Protec 342-1166 Camouflage Green is 'the correct colour for all green vehicles post 1967'). Hex is approximate, sampled from the olive-drab front wing of an in-service Perentie 6x6 ambulance in a 2014 US Marine Corps photograph; real paint is IRR, flat, and fades markedly in service.

City Cab Yellow (Judge Dredd prop)

The taxicab yellow of the fibreglass City Cab bodies built by Rover Group for the 1995 film Judge Dredd - a film-prop colour, not a catalogued Land Rover paint. Hex is approximate, sampled from the bonnet of the surviving complete City Cab in a British Motor Museum photograph (samples ranged #bc8f02-#c8a20f under museum lighting; the paint reads brighter in person).
