The record

German truck makers were directed to build simplified standard trucks of about three tonnes payload, and the B 3000 was Borgward's; some 30,000 were made between 1941 and 1944, the A-type among them. The works were destroyed by Allied bombing in 1944 and the British occupation stopped a restart in 1945; production ran again from July 1948 to 1950, the postwar B 3000 D carrying 3,400 kg against the B 3000 S's 3,125.
