The record

The Kommandeurswagen put a closed car on the Schwimmwagen’s four-wheel-drive chassis with its ZF self-locking differentials and rear portal axles, and rode on balloon tyres for sand. Two more were assembled from leftover parts in November 1946, by which time the plant was under British control.
