The record

Development began in 2010, the first contract was signed in 2012 and production started in 2014; twelve Typhoons took part in the Victory Day parade that year. The seats hang from the roof rather than standing on the floor, so a mine blast under the V-shaped hull is not fed straight into them. About 330 Typhoon-K were in the Russian fleet by 2021.
